Different Games and Updates Announced in EA Play 2019
Here is a breakdown of the different games and game updates showcased by EA during their three-hour livestream conference at E3 2019
Stars Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Respawn Entertainment both unveiled a new trailer and demo gameplay for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The new trailer added information about the story of the main protagonist, Cal Kestis, together with his droid partner, BD-1. A huge surprise was the reveal of Saw Guerrera, played by Rogue One: A Star Wars Story actor Forest Whitaker.
In addition, the gameplay demo showed different enemies that Cal needs to defeat as well as a display of his Jedi abilities. This includes Blaster Bolt Freeze, a signature Jedi power of Kylo Ren.

Apex Legends
At long last, Season 2 of Apex Legends has been announced. Season 2 included daily and weekly challenge improvements, a new ranked game mode, and a tease of a massive creature’s arrival.
Respawn Entertainment also showcased the new playable character Wattson. Her abilities include installing defensive electrical walls and pylons that can block incoming fire.
Battlefield V
DICE’s Battlefield V featured new maps and in-game improvements including a new chapter called “Defying the Odds.” Chapter 4: Defying the Odds is scheduled to arrive June 24th and includes maps like Marita and Al Sundan. Chapter 5 was also teased to bring the battles of the Pacific Theater such was Iwo Jima.
FIFA 20
EA’s FIFA 20 featured a new game mode called Volta which is a caged and futsal version of football. This mode also allows the player to customize their character and play street football games in different countries like London, Amsterdam, and Tokyo.
EA also promised that the player’s AI teammates will be smarter in terms of awareness of time, space, and positioning. Ball physics were improved further to be more realistic.
FIFA 20 will arrive on September 27 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
Madden NFL 20
New gameplay for Madden NFL 20 was presented, featuring five new pieces of content: “Face of the Franchise,” “Scenario Engine,” “Playbooks,” “Ultimate Missions,” and “X-Factor Abilities.”
Face of the Franchise is a new career campaign while Ultimate Missions serve as a way to improve player stats. The biggest feature is X-Factor, which adds star football players with enhanced abilities.
The Sims 4
New DLC content called “Island Living” was announced for The Sims 4. This included open-water gameplay, new summer-themed clothing, fashion, an active volcano, environmental conservation activities, and much more.
