For Nintendo’s next big title, Super Mario Odyssey, the company says that the game will be adopt an open-world or sandbox-style gameplay similar to Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario 64. The game was first teased during the company’s announcement trailer for the Nintendo Switch on October 2016, eventually being confirmed as an upcoming title in January this year.
As confirmed on Nintendo’s E3 press conference schedule on June 13, the company will give considerable attention to discussing the title to the audience during its Nintendo Spotlight event. Its also been reported that Nintendo will allow expo attendees to experience a playable demo of the game right on the show floor.
While there haven’t been reports yet on an exact release date for the game, we’re hoping Nintendo will shed light on this on the day of the E3 event.
