Pre-order Bonuses
Pre-ordering any edition of The Last of Us Part 2 grants you two special in-game bonuses on the game’s launch date (June 19th, 2020). These are the Ammo Capacity Upgrade and the Crafting Training Manual.
Ammo Capacity Upgrade
The Ammo Capacity Upgrade bonus instantly unlocks one upgrade level for Ellie’s pistol. Your starting firearm will be able to carry more rounds which is useful for enemy encounters during the early stages of the main story.
Crafting Training Manual
The Crafting Training Manual gives you access to new crafting recipes at the start of the game. It has not been specified what recipes the manual contains, though it is expected that these will also be very helpful early on.
Ellie’s Tattoo PSN Avatar (Digital Version Only)
Players who will pre-order the Digital Standard Edition and the Digital Deluxe edition of The Last of Us Part 2 will immediately receive an special PSN Avatar depicting Ellie’s tattoo. The bonus is only available during the pre-order period for the two versions.
