Chapter 13: Volcano Summit Walkthrough

Eldin Volcano – Part 1

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Chapter13Guide1

1 Using the steam geyser at the entrance to the Silent Realm – Eldin Volcano, you may reach there quickly. Take the short route north from this cave to the location where you caught fire due to the extreme heat.
2 With the aid of the Fireshield Earrings, you may now cross this area. A cave entrance is located up the ramp. Take this to the top of the Volcano.
3 At present time, the Summit’s tiny cave area is mainly inaccessible. For now, climb the ramp to the northwest area, where an Amber Relic can be found on one of the ledges in the open area.
4 To get to the two tunnel exits on a ramp, cross the small platforms. At the bottom of the ramp, take the west exit. There are two things you can do outside.
5 To begin, take some water from the nearby waterfall with your Empty Bottle. You’ll need this in a while, but first you’ll need to obtain the Goddess Cube.
6 One exit from the tunnel leading to the Fire Sanctuary entrance leads to a waterfall. You can run over the cliff near this waterfall and land in a Goddess Cube deep below.
7 To land on the platform with the Cube, you must navigate around a pillar. This unlocks a chest on Bug Island that contains a Piece of Heart.
8 You’ll need to use the Clawshots on a series of vine patches to go back to solid ground from the Goddess Cube. If you spend too much time climbing about on the vine patches, you will run out of stamina.
9 At the peak of the vine climb is a Gossip Stone. A chest containing a Silver Rupee may be found by using a bomb on the wall opposite the Gossip Stone.
10 Return to the hot cavern before ascending the ramp to the north tunnel exit. Gorko will be inspecting a series of flaming blockades, and you’ll see him here.
11 You’ll be able to use Dowsing to locate Goddess Cubes after speaking with Gorko.
12 To douse the frog emblems beside each gate with water, you must douse the flames at each barrier.
13 Approach the right side frog and pour your bottle upon it for the first gate. You may summon a Gossip Stone by going through the gate. (You may also return with the Mogma Mitts later to get a Heart Piece near the Stone’s foot.)
14 Return to the waterfall and grab another bottle of water. To go to the platform to the left of the second gate, use the Clawshots. To grapple up, a vine wall may be used.
15 From the little ledge above the frog, pour water on it. The next frog is a little more difficult. Approach it to hear Gorko’s suggestions.
16 Lake Floria has the huge “Water Dragon’s Basin” that Gorko and Fi mention to. But first, get your hands on the Goddess Cube.

Eldin Volcano – Part 2

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Chapter13Guide2

1 An open window may be found to the left of the Fire Sanctuary entrance. Run up to the window sill and stand there. From here, use your Clawshots to grab onto some distant vines.
2 Shoot the Lizalfos on the nearby platform with an arrow from the Bow. You won’t have to face it head on if you strike it in the head.
3 Use your Clawshot across to the platform now. You can go to the Goddess Cube from there.
4 On the Isle of Storms, this unlocks a chest with a Small Bomb Bag.

Lake Floria

1 An open window may be found to the left of the Fire Sanctuary entrance. Run up to the window sill and stand there. From here, use your Clawshots to grab onto some distant vines.
2 Faron Woods has the Basin you’ll need to carry water to the Fire Sanctuary’s entrance. In the southern area of Faron Woods, land at the Floria Waterfall Bird Statue outside the Ancient Cistern entrance. (If you haven’t already, collect the Goddess Cube above the waterfall area while you’re here.)
3 To get the Water Dragon’s Basin, enter the Lake Floria caves and speak with Faron. You may seek the help of your robot friend to transport it to Eldin.

Eldin Volcano – Part 3

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Chapter13Guide4

1 When you return to Eldin Volcano, the robot will land at the volcano’s bottom base. Bokoblins and Moblins clutter the route leading upward. You have no choice but to eliminate them all and clear a way for the robot.
2 It is strongly advised that you use the improved Bow in this situation. A Sacred Bow can kill a lot of foes in a single shot — even the gigantic Moblins only require three hits.
3 Keep a safe distance and snipe a lot of Bokoblins in the area. Shoot them from afar if you don’t want your robot to be sent back to the beginning of the area.
4 Use the Peahats to pass the area using Clawshot instead of approaching the cave section to the east. On the opposite side, Blue Bokoblins will assault you, but be sure to grind down their ranks first by shooting down any Red Bokoblin archers.
5 To get to the steam vent, use another Peahat shortcut over the lava; there are two options. The first choice is to enter the cave by turning right. Eliminate the bats and then use the volcano’s shortcut.
6 Your bot will be unable to follow you and will remain at the vent until you return. From here, you may make your way back down to your bot, killing opponents along the way. This will offer your bot a clear route to follow.
7 Instead, head west and eliminate all of the archers on the slope before running up the hill. You may bomb a wall for two Red Rupees at the top of this slope.
8 Walk over the collapsed watchtower, which is guarded by a Moblin; remember that you may run up its shield and strike it from behind. Climb the vines and make your way to the big slope filled with archers.
9 Clear them out from the bottom of the slope once again. You must eliminate them all from a safe distance if you don’t want to lose your bot.
10 At the Earth Temple’s entrance, turn right. There will be a moblin with an iron shield; pretend as if it were a regular wall and leap over it while running to strike from behind. Repeat this process four times more until it dies.
11 Go to the overheated area before entering the Volcano Summit cave. Lizalfos has barred your way to the Fire Sanctuary, you can take care of them using your usual methods.
12 You may be attracted to rush right through the Lava Spumes, but watch out because they’ll destroy your robot. Before crossing the lava, you may bomb them.
13 To get to the Fire Sanctuary, go through the tunnel in the far north. The sixth dungeon will be accessible after a cutscene at the entrance.
