The Haunted Restroom Side Quest Walkthrough
Skyloft
After you get the harp and speak with the old lady, you’ll be able to start this side quest. To put it another way, after you first defeat of The Imprisoned.
| 1 | Go to the Bazaar and have a conversation with Dovos (man sitting at a table within the food area). He’ll tell you that he heard a woman crying in the dorms late at night. |

| 2 | Go to the Knight Academy and chat with Henya (the older woman in the kitchen). She’ll mention about the late-night sounds coming from the restroom. |
| 3 | When Link goes to sleep and wakes up at night, he will hear voices asking for paper in the restroom. Return to sleep, and when you wake up in the morning, you should be able to begin this side quest. |
Cawlin’s Love Letter
| 1 | Speak with Cawlin in the Knight Academy Hallyway to obtain a love letter to Karane. |

| 2 | You can either offer it to her or to the ghost who haunts the Knight Academy rest room late at night. |
| 3 | You will still receive 5 Gratitude Crystals regardless of your choice. |
Giving the Love Letter to Ghost
| 1 | After giving the letter to the ghost during late at night, sleep until morning and then return to Cawlin’s house to inform him who you handed the letter to. |

| 2 | Then go back to Groose’s room and locate the ghost haunting Cawlin (who sleeps in Groose’s bed at night). |
| 3 | Afterwards, the ghost will give you 5 Gratitude Crystals. |
Giving the Love Letter to the Karane
| 1 | After you’ve received Cawlin’s love letter, go to the 1st floor and locate Karane in the classroom. Talk to her and you’ll hear her murmuring something about Pipit. |

| 2 | Tell her you’ve received a letter for her and that you’re interested in hearing what she has to say. |
| 3 | The next stage is to look for Pipit and notify him about Karane’s love letter; he may be found on the Knight Academy’s second level, strolling the hallways during the day. |
| 4 | After telling Pipit about the letter, return to Karane and a dramatic triangle of love scene will develop. |
| 5 | Afterwards, Cawlin will rush away with his heartbroken regardless of how you handle the letter side quest. |
| 6 | Pipit will give you 5 Gratitude Crystals as a thank you for assisting him into realizing his feelings for Karane. |
