How to Deal with Lightning in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (Zelda: TotK)

Remove metal equipment
Lightning is attracted to metal, so if you are in an area where lightning is present, unequip your metal equipment to avoid getting hit.
Find a place with cover
Lightning strikes cannot hit Link as long as there is something covering him from the stormy sky. However, be mindful of the cover you are using, as it may fall directly on Link when hit by a lightning strike.
Throw a metal weapon on the ground
Throwing a metal weapon on the ground and waiting for lightning to hit it can serve as a decoy. You can also this method to your advantage by throwing the metal weapon at your enemies, causing the lightning to strike them.
