What is the Raccoon City Incident Report?

Playstation Japan’s official youtube channel releases a brief recount of the stories prior to the t-virus outbreak in Raccoon City. The Raccoon City incident Report is a short video that summarizes the key events that lead to Resident Evil 3. It contains scenes showing the bizarre events that happened in the mountains around Arklay County, and the remaining survivors escape. A new chapter occurs as a glimpse of the outbreak shows up in the midwestern town of Raccoon City. However, with Resident Evil 3’s release date fast approaching, we get to see a few more details on events that precede September 28, the day Resident Evil 3 takes place.

This isn’t the first time that Capcom showed a report about the catastrophic outbreak. In 2000, Capcom brought Wesker report which came along with copies of Resident Evil Code Veronica X. Later on in 2015, the Japanese version of Resident Evil Remake Remaster also made its own version using high definition cutscenes from the Remake, Umbrella Chronicles, and Darkside Chronicles.
