Non-infected

Enemy Description

WLF Hostile members of the Washington Liberation Front. Members of the WLF are sometimes accompanied by guard dogs to sniff out nearby intruders and make use of heavy artillery. They are dangerous and will not hesitate to kill any trespassers on sight.
Seraphite Zealous cult members. Unlike the WLF, the Seraphites rely on stealth using bows and camouflage by blending with the terrain.

The Infected

Enemy Description
Runner The lowest form of transformation among the infected. Runners can’t see very well and retain many features that they used to have while living as humans. These enemies have shiny orange eyes and tend to keep a hunched stance when idle. Runners react to sound and only becomes hostile when provoked or when an enemy is close by. When angered, Runners charge at the enemy while flailing their arms.
Stalker The second stage of the Cordyceps infection. The stalker serves as the middleground between runners and clickers. They have an unique frog like sound. They have mutated faces and lack an eye. When undetected, stalkers plan their attack on an unsuspecting victim. Like runners, stalkers can also charge at enemies when provoked.
Clicker The third stage of the Cordyceps infection. The name comes from the clicking sound that they produce when patrolling areas. Clickers gained superhuman strength which makes them more dangerous than the other variants. Echolocation or the sound that clickers make gives them a way to traverse from one area to the next.
Shambler New infected variants that share features with Bloaters. Shamblers boast durability and strength. They leave behind corrosive clouds which linger on the field. When defeated, the Shambler’s body explodes.
