Phantasy Star Online 2’s English release has long been teased by SEGA after the success of its launch in Japan in 2012. The game was showcased in the Penny Arcade Expo in Seattle, Washington in 2012 but faced an unexpected delay. It took five years before the game’s English website was taken down.
In terms of gameplay, the game features a wide array of customizable features like other MMOs. Players can choose a name, gender, race, and class for their character. After some time, players can then unlock other features such to further make their character stand out. These features consist of details on the character’s face and body, as well as clothes and accessories. Classes are diverse with future episodes introducing hybrid and advanced classes for players to enjoy.
Phantasy Star Online 2 will be released Spring 2020 for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One. While Japan already got the game on the Sony PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch, only time will tell if this will follow in the future for its western release.

Funny to see that this announce is only for PC/XB1 while us (Western) PS4 players are in need of it as well. I am enjoying PSO2 a lot on my PS4 but need to use Google Translate a lot to get my way around (and getting better at it)
