The Forgotten Treasure
Location
Buried under a spot near the bridge that leads to the Top-Hat Tower in Cap Kingdom.
How to Get
- Go to the Central Plaza and climb up the top-hat in the middle. Talks to the hat ghost there. You must then visit specific areas of the map to find the Power Moon based on Cappy’s memory (though you won’t find them in any of the areas except the last one).
- Head to the Crazy Cap Store area and destroy the three piles of wooden crates behind them.
- While still in the Central Plaza, head off to the side blocked by wooden crates to a narrow area below. Then, go to the bridge that takes you back to the Odyssey. Next, head for the highest hill near the Odyssey.
- Lastly, face the direction of the moon. The Power Moon is actually at the side of the bridge that goes to the Top-Hat Tower. Do not cross the bridge. Instead, drop down to the side on the platform just before the ground and perform a ground pound near the railing to obtain the Power Moon.

got moons 1 thru 11 but can’t get any more? Do I have to complete game and defeat bowser before I can get any moons past 11 inthe Cap Kingdom?
im ground pounding everywhere but no moon
