Tips: Battling Pokemon Trainer Dexio

Look out for Dexio’s Slowbro since it can use Trick Room to outrun your Pokemon and launch powerful attacks. Similarly, his Whimsicott can be a nuisance due to its move combinations of: Substitute, and Leech Seed; or Tailwind, and Swagger which are boosted further by its ability Prankster.

To protect your team from Whimsicott’s Prankster-boosted status moves, you can either: opt to use a Substitute of your own to block them off, or incapacitate it using the move Taunt.

A recommended Pokemon against Whimsicott that can run Substitute is Aegislash.

Since there are lots of opportunities to use a buffing move, aiming for a sweep away with a Dragon Dance Mega Gyarados is effective as well.
