How to execute Fatal Attacks in Lies of P?

Do a Normal Attack from behind.

Sneak behind an enemy and use a basic strike [R1] to deliver a Fatal Attack.

Whether the enemy realizes it or not, if a claw mark forms behind its back, you may simply use a standard attack [R1] to trigger a Fatal Attack and go in the direction of the enemy’s own motion.

If the enemy does not stagger when dealt a Fatal Blow, it means that the enemy is not subject attacks from behind.

As for boss enemies, they can be also dealt by Fatal Attacks.

How to inflict Groggy status?

Deal continuous normal attacks.

A sequence of normal attacks will cause the enemy’s health meter to glow white.

Use a charged Strong Attack.

Charge the Strong Attack [R2] to make an enemy under Groggy status if the enemy’s HP gauge is visible with a white border.

How to eliminate enemies under Groggy status?

Perform a Fatal Attack on marked enemies.

Once a claw mark appears over an enemy, deal a Fatal Attack.

Perform a Charged Strong Attack on boss enemies.

Use the Charged Strong Attack [R2] to knock down a boss afflicted with Groggy status. Then, aim for the head of the boss.
