Chapter 6 Walkthrough for Lies of P

Hotel Krat – Rosa Isabelle Street Entrance

Open the door on the second floor using the “Rosa Isabelle Entrance Key”.

Head to the second floor of Hotel Krat and open the door using the key that you received from Antonia.

Repair the Stargazer at the Rosa Isabelle Street Entrance.

Repair the first Stargazer at the Rosa Isabelle Street Entrance.

Follow the path and enter the building.

From the first Stargazer, go straight ahead and enter the building. Note that there are some collectibles along the way, so take a look around before entering the building.

Activate the switch that lowers the ladder.

The switch can be found just outside the building. Activate it to lower the ladder down, but watch out for the dolls that have the ability to self-destruct once they get near you.

Head down to the ground floor and open the shortcut.

After successfully lowering the ladder, enter the room where you can drop down to the ground floor. Defeat the enemy on the way, then go up the stairs and open the shortcut. Aside from that, there’s also a safe that contains a “Legion Plug” nearby.

Leave the building and go outside.

Go back to the ground floor and leave the building.

Get the “Dancer’s Curved Sword” from a treasure chest.

As soon as you reach the outside, keep heading straight until you find the treasure chest that contains “Dancer’s Curved Sword”.

Defeat the White Lady

Head to the path on the right to find a theater-like stage. Interact with the puppet at the center to start the boss fight.

Defeat the Dimensional Butterfly and open another shortcut.

Head straight and move slightly to the left to find a courtyard. Then, go into the courtyard and open the shortcut on your right. Once you have opened the shortcut gate, defeat the Dimensional Butterfly nearby to get a Crescent Moonstone.

Repair the Stargazer.

Retrace your steps and go up the stairs to find the Rosa Isabelle Street Culvert Stargazer. Repair the Stargazer and proceed to the next area.

Rosa Isabelle Street Culvert – Estella Opera House Entrance

Talk to Julian the Gentleman.

Talk to Julian the Gentleman near the ladder and accept his quest. In this quest, he will ask you to retrieve his late wife’s belongings, which you can get later on as you explore the following areas.

Head down into the sewers.

Climb down the ladder and head into the sewers. Once you are in the sewers, head straight, then go down the hole. Defeat the elite enemy at the end of the path and open the treasure chest nearby to get Quartz. After that, climb up the ladder and open the shortcut.

Take the path on your right at the intersection.

Return to the Stargazer and head to the right side of the sewer pipe. Once you reach the outside, you will encounter strong enemies and some puppets with special attacks. Climb up the ladder, then use the puppet strings to pull the enemies and defeat them before they explode.

Open the shortcut.

Once you are at ground level, turn left and open the shortcut door.

Head up the stairs and open the safe in the room.

Head up the stairs and beware of the enemy that will appear before you. Defeat the enemy and proceed to the area behind him. Once inside, open the safe to get the “Arch Heavyweight Frame”.

Retrieve the Wedding Ring.

Exit the building and take the next staircase down. Once outside, you will see a body sitting next to a staircase. Examine the body to get the Wedding Ring. Now that you have the quest item, return to Julian the Gentleman, and whether you tell him the Truth or choose to Lie, you will still get the quest rewards (Wedding Ring and Sad Gesture).

Head down the stairs and take the shortcut.

Head down the stairs in front of the room where you previously found a safe, then go straight to get a Dark Moon Moonstone of the Covenant. In the same area, look for the shortcut door and then open it.

Proceed to the passageway where there is a puppet with a flamethrower.

Use Flame Grindstone.

First of all, you can get past this boss and activate the Stargazer nearby first. Before engaging with the Mad Clown Puppet, use a Flame Grindstone first to maximize your damage output against the boss.

Prepare to guard when the boss’ left hand touches the ground.

When the boss’ left hand touches the ground, it indicates that he is going to charge towards you. You can guard this attack and launch a few counterattacks afterwards.

Watch out for the boss’ spinning attack.

This is one of the Mad Clown Puppet’s move sets wherein you can utilize the “Perfect Guard”. The boss will launch multiple attacks while spinning and ending with an uppercut. You can guard the attacks, or it would be much better if you could “Perfect Guard” them. Once it is over, you can land some blows on the boss.

The boss can extend his arm.

If the boss suddenly turns red, it indicates that he will shoot out his arm towards you. You can either move away from its range or guard the attack.

Don’t miss the opportunity to attack.

After successfully guarding the boss’ attacks, there will be a small window for you to launch some counterattacks, but keep in mind that the boss may hit you back if you keep attacking. Just keep your guard up or “Perfect Guard” his attacks as much as possible and wait for an opening to launch your attacks.

Estella Opera House Entrance – Estella Opera House Stage

Open the door and enter the Estella Opera House.

Take the stairs on the right.

Head up the stairs and take the stairs on your right. Look for the room with a treasure chest inside to get a Belford Disruption Cartridge. Equip the cartridge, as the enemies in this area can inflict Disruption on you.

Talk to Adelina in the back room.

Head to the back room that looks like a dressing room and speak to Adelina. If you have purchased the “Red Apple” from Polendina at Hotel Krat, give it to her to start her side quest.

Take the stairs on the left.

Return to the entrance, and this time take the stairs on the left side. Head to the back of the area and go down the stairs to find a treasure chest at the end of the path. Open the treasure chest to get the “Technique Amulet”.

Get the weapon inside the safe.

Head up the stairs and go to the room at the end of the hallway.

From the safe’s location, follow the path on the other side, then head up the stairs. Go to the room at the end of the hallway, but first you must defeat the enemies along the way.

Open the treasure chest and climb down the ladder.

Enter the door at the back of the room with a burning chandelier.

Open the huge door at the back of the burning chandelier room and prepare yourself for a boss fight.

Defeat Romeo, the King of Puppets

Set Friendship Wishstone into the Cube.

The Puppet King attacks relentlessly and has high damage output so your Specter’s HP might not last until the end of the fight. Because of this, it is recommended to set the Friendship Wishstone to the Cube to restore the Specter’s HP while fighting the boss. If you do not have it, go to Giangio and use Gold Coin Fruits to trade for it.

Weak to lightning attribute.

The Puppet King is weak to lightning attribute. Use Electric Abrasives and Electric Grindstones to add lightning element damage to your attacks.

Guard the right hand swing two times.

When the boss uses its right hand swing attack, wait a little bit before performing a Perfect Guard. If you use a weapon with fast swing speed, you can damage the boss once before the second swing comes out.

The claw attack with the right hand hits twice while the one using the left hits once.

The boss’ claw attack that starts with its right hand is a double attack using its right and left hands. The claw attack that starts with its left, meanwhile, ends immediately after one strike.

At half HP, the boss will perform a rapid claw attack.

Once the boss’ HP is reduced to half and subtitles appear below the boss’ name, it will use a series of frontal claw attacks. When aggro is directed towards your Specter, it is a chance to attack the boss from behind.

Get away when the boss is gathering wind.

As soon as the boss starts to collect wind, move away. If you cannot seem to escape, use guard to overcome it.

Use the Cube when Romeo appears.

As soon as the second battle against Romeo, King of Puppets begins, use the Cube to restore the HP of your Specter. The amount of recovery is high so you will be able to fight 2v1 against the boss until the end.

Do not attack when the boss’ sickle is sticking out.

When the boss’ eyes shines red and his scythe is sticking out in front of you, do not attack him as you will get hit with a counterattack.

The boss will buff his attacks with fire when his HP is below 50%.

When Romeo’s HP falls below 50%, his sickle be buffed with the fire attribute. The boss’ also becomes more aggressive, so until your Specter can draw aggro again, try to stay calm and focus on guarding and evading.

Talk to Geppetto.

After the defeating Romeo, the King of Puppets, repair the Estella Opera House Stage Stargazer and head to back of the stage. In there, you will find Geppetto standing next to a lamp post. After talking to him, your pulse battery limit will increase by 1.
