Similar to most soulslike games, Lies of P’s New Game Plus (NG+) lets you replay the entirety of the main story chapters after beating the game with certain features from your previous run carried over.

Lies of P Post-Game Unlockables Guide

NG+ does not immediately begin when you defeat the final boss.

Beating the final boss of your chosen story route will not cause you to automatically begin NG+. Being able to return to previous locations, especially Hotel Krat, is useful as it lets you read ending-specific letters at Gepetto’s study or exchange boss Ergo (especially the one dropped by the final boss and “true” final boss) before beginning a NG+ run.

Features that Carry Over in NG+

Below are all gameplay features that transfer to subsequent NG+ playthroughs.

Features that Do Not Carry Over in NG+

Below are all gameplay features that do not transfer to subsequent NG+ playthroughs. This means that you will need to find them again while going through the game’s main story chapters.

• Key Items
• Venigni Collections
• Krat Supply Boxes

Differences in NG+

• Regular enemies and bosses have increased health and damage output.
• Regular enemies and bosses dropped more Ergo upon defeat.
• Enhanced versions of materials (obtained as enemy drops, from chests, or sold by Wandering Merchants)
• New post-game Records become purchasable from merchants.
• The work desk where you choose your starting Combat Style changes to a table with Geppetto’s Tools. This immediately gives you access to features to switch out or modify your Legion Arm or activate your P-Organ before you arrive at Krat Central Station.

Things to Do in NG+

Unlock different endings.

Lies of P features a total of three (3) different endings that you unlock after defeating the final boss and “true” final boss. Once you have cleared the main story for the first time, it is recommended to play through NG+ and try to get a different ending from your previous run.

The game has ending-related achievements so players who are aiming for 100% completion will need to beat the game at least three times to get the Platinum trophy.

Lies of P All Endings Guide

Defeat the “true” final boss.

Defeating the “true” final boss who only appears in two of the three story routes is also among the trophies required to get 100% completion. If you went for the Real Boy: They All Lived Happily Ever After ending, try replaying the game to trigger the Free from the Puppet String or Rise of P routes to fight the “true” final boss in the last area of the game.

Clear all side quests.

Completing certain side quests during the main story will also unlock certain achievements so it is worth replaying the game again if you are aiming for 100% completion. Some of these achievements can only be unlocked on specific ending routes or for locking-in certain decisions in the game.

The Story of a Stranger Girl	Bronze	Find out about the last story of Eugenie.
The Story of the Blue Butterfly	Bronze	Find out about the last story of Sophia.

Collect and max out normal weapons, special (boss) weapons, and Legion Arms.

There are also several trophies related to collecting all types of equipment as well as those unlocked for maxing out one normal weapon, one special weapon, and one Legion Arm in the game.

Find all collectibles and meet other specific objectives.

You can also play through NG+ to find any collectibles you missed getting in your first run as certain trophies are also rewarded for locating all of them during the main story.

Other achievements require you to meet specific conditions which you may have also skipped on your first playthrough.
