Chapter 3 Walkthrough for Lies of P

Krat City Hall Courtyard – Workshop Union Entrance

Use the key in the courtyard.

Get the Courtyard Key from Geppetto on the second floor of Hotel Krat. Then, use the key to open the gate after defeating the Scrapped Watchman.

Follow the path while defeating enemies.

The enemies who are throwing Molotov cocktails may give you trouble as you follow the path. Climb up to the roof and defeat them before taking on the mid-boss.

Pick up the phone and get the Trinity Key.

If you go to the right in front of the factory, you will find a telephone receiver. Pick it up when it rings and answer the question to get a Trinity Key (you can choose either option).

Activate the Stargazer at the top of the stairs.

At the top of the stairs is the Workshop Union Entrance Stargazer.

Go up the stairs and go drop down the hole.

Go up the stairs and enter the room on the left. There will be a hole that you can drop down to with a safe that contains the Salamander Dagger.

Go up the stairs and take the inner path.

Once you get the Salamander Dagger, go up the stairs again and take the inner path. Beyond that is a building that looks like a factory.

Proceed through the factory.

When you enter the factory, you will see a large number of Puppets. There is a treasure chest inside that contains the Belford Shock Cartridge.

Defeat the mid boss (dual shield).

As you proceed beyond the factory, the ground will collapse and a mid-boss will appear with a shield in each hand. Note that you cannot damage this enemy when he is holding up his shields.

Defeat the Dimensional Butterfly at the top of the stairs.

A Dimensional Butterfly will appear at the top of the stairs. Defeat it to get a Power Crank.

Repair the Stargazer while ignoring the mid-boss.

As you continue along the road, you will come to the Workshop Union Entrance Stargazer.

Workshop Union Culvert – Venigni Works Control Room

Defeat the Dimensional Butterfly at the end of the pipe.

Proceed through the pipe to reach a large poisonous area. A Dimensional Butterfly will appear at the bottom. Defeat it to get a Hidden Moonstone. For the mid-boss, try to lure it away from the poisoned area by throwing gears at it.

Go to the right side of the Stargazer.

Return to the Stargazer and take the other path. Avoid the flaming boulders by using the gaps as you go up the slope. Then, open the shortcut door. Go all the way to the end and you will find a treasure chest containing the Fire Axe.

Defeat the Survivor.

In the middle of the rock area, the wall on the right will collapse, allowing you to move forward. When this happens, continue ahead. When you get to a large area, go up the stairs on the right. Then, go down the ladder and talk to the NPC and battle the Survivor.

Head to the Trinity Sanctum.

Go back the way you came but this time take the left side of the fork in the road and enter the cave. You know you are in the right path if you run into Red Fox and Black Cat in front of the cave. Afterwards, follow the path on the right. You should find a safe where you can use the Trinity you got earlier to open it. The safe contains the Blue Dueling Tailcoat and Quartz.

Pull the lever to drain the poison water.

Go back the way you came and go past the pipe to find a shortcut door. A mid-boss will appear here. Defeat it to get the Swordsmanship Master’s Amulet. There is a lever where the middle boss was, so pull it to drain the poison water.

Defeat the Future Puppet or just loot the items.

After draining the poison water, warp to the nearest Stargazer. Don not go into the room where the Survivor NPC is. Instead, go outside and lower the ladder.

You can try to kill the Future Puppet which will drop Quartz and Radiant Ergo. Otherwise, just loot the items in the nearby area.

Pull the lever to connect the pipes.

Climb the ladder where the Survivor was and go to the right side to find a lever. Use it to connect the pipe and a shortcut to Stargazer will be opened.

Defeat the mid-boss.

As you proceed along the path, a fire-based mid-boss will appear. Defeat it to get you can get the Workshop Union Standard Insulation Converter defense part.

Reach the Stargazer on the second floor.

If you go up the stairs on the left to the second floor, you will find Venigni so talk to him. Nearby is the Venigni Works Control Room Stargazer.

Venigni Works Control Room – Center of Venigni Works

Get the Technical Crank on the left side of the steel frame.

Climb onto the steel frame from the second floor, and to get the Technical Crank that fell on the scaffolding on the left.

Get off the conveyor belt and summon a Specter.

Go down the conveyor belt and open the door to enter a boss battle. Try summoning a Specter for this fight using Star Fragments.

Defeat King’s Flame, Fuoco.

Use Attribute Resistance Ampoules and Attribute Purification Ampoules.

King’s Flame Fuoco uses many fire-based attacks, so having Attribute Resistance Ampoules and Attribute Purification Ampoules will be useful during the fight. You can buy these items from the shop at Elysion Boulevard (Inside the House).

Watch for the boss’ delayed swings and guard them.

When the boss attacks with its right arm, there will be some delay before it swings it down. Watch for the timing and guard against it.

Move away after guarding the first hit of the spinning attack.

The boss can do a spinning attack where it will swing its arms three times in a row before scattering flames around it. Once you block the first hit, move away to avoid the flames.

Stay on the right side of the boss to avoid the Fury Attack.

The boss’ Fury Attack is less likely to hit you if you stand on the right side (where it has no arms).

Hide behind the pillar when the boss’ HP is at 50%.

Once you lower the boss HP to about half, it will sit down and create a flame bed over a wide area.

Hide behind the pillar to avoid taking damage. The boss will also gain stronger fire attacks so be sure to use Ampoules when you need to.

The boss’ gun attacks will not hit you if you stay close to its feet.

The boss’ double gunshot attack with its left hand will not hit you if you are close to its feet. Use this chance to land attacks on the boss.

Repair the Stargazer.

Repair the Center of Venigni Works Stargazer.
