How to Get and Use Special Grindstones in Lies of P
What is a Special Grindstone?
You can equip a Special Grindstone on a Grinder through Venigni or a Stargazer.
There are different types of Special Grindstones that grant different effects to your weapons. You can use a Special Grindstone’s effect in battle only once, but it recharges if you revive or visit a Stargazer.
You can change and switch the type of grinder by speaking with Stargazer or Venigni and selecting “Switch Grindstone or Grinder.”

How to Obtain the Special Grindstones
Obtained after defeating Chapter 3 Boss
Once you have defeated the Boss King’s Flame Fuoco, go back to the Hotel Krat and talk to Venigni to acquire the Flame Grindstone along with the Grinder Modification Tool.

How to Use Special Grindstones
Use a Grindstone while guarding
You can use the special grindstone by pressing the assigned key (◻︎ button) while guarding in a battle (hold L1 button).
The Special Grindstone can only be used once during battle and the number of use will be zero, you can only reset when you go to the Stargazer.
