Chapter 2 Walkthrough for Lies of P

Hotel Krat – Elysion Boulevard Entrance

Get the Puppet Strings Legion Arm from Eugenie.

When you arrive at Hotel Krat, talk to Eugenie (to the right of Sophia) to get the Puppet String Legion Arm.

Get Someone’s Memory Outfit and Gestures from Antonia.

If you talk to Antonia in the room to the left of Sophia, you will receive the outfit Someone’s Memory and a gesture.

Go Out from the Back of Hotel Krat.

Once you have finished talking to all the NPCs, go out from the back of the hotel.

Repair the Stargazer.

As you walk along the road, you will come to the Elysium Boulevard Entrance Stargazer.

Elysion Boulevard Entrance – Elysion Boulevard (Inside the House)

Proceed along the path.

Follow the path while defeating the enemies. There is a treasure chest next to the stairs that contains a “LADA F150 Frame.”

Open the first shortcut.

Defeat the mid boss and enter the room.

If you move forward from the shortcut ladder, a mid-boss will appear. Defeat the boss inside and enter the room.

Open the second shortcut.

Head for the rooftop.

Climb the ladder and proceed to the rooftop. There are enemies here that throw throwing projectiles so be careful as you approach and take them out.

Repair the Stargazer while ignoring the mid boss.

A mid boss appears when you go through the building with the Stargazer just ahead. It is recommended to ignore the mid boss and focus on repairing the Stargazer first. Note that you will not be able to repair the Stargazer if there are enemies nearby, so go a little further until the mid-boss returns to its original position. Then, go back to the Stargazer and repair it.

Elysion Boulevard (Inside the House) – Krat City Hall

Defeat the mid boss to get the Life Amulet.

After repairing the Stargazer, go and defeat the mid-boss. You can obtain the “Life Amulet ” from the treasure chest near the enemy’s original location.

Defeat the Dimensional Butterfly.

As you go a little further, the lamp will glow red and the Dimensional Butterfly will appear. When you defeat it, you will get a Hidden Moonstone (upgrade material).

Accept the side quest from the crying woman.

After defeating the Dimensional Butterfly, go through the building and talk to the crying woman. Then, accept her side quest.

Climb down the ladder and defeat the mid-boss.

When you go down the ladder, a mid-boss will appear. If you defeat it, you can get the Krat Police Baton (blade and handle). Note that you can also ignore it and open the shortcut first.

Open the shortcut.

Explore beyond the door.

When you exit the elevator room, you will see the boss on the left side. Explore the area on the right first as you can pick up materials, Ergo, and the Workshop Union Standard Converter defense part here.

Defeat the Mad Donkey (B0ss)

Get behind the boss to do Fatal Attacks (backstabs).

The Mad Donkey is a humanoid boss which means that you can get behind it and perform a powerful backstab Fatal Attack to deal massive damage. Avoid its vertical weapon swing by dodging diagonally forward. This will allow you to get into position for a backstab before the boss can recover. You can perform the Fatal Attack when the lock-on turns red.

Repair the Stargazer.

After defeating the Mad Donkey, head forward and repair the Krat City Hall Stargazer.

Open the shortcut

Get the side quest item at the mid boss’ location.

Go up the stairs in front of the fountain. On the right side near the mid boss, you will find the item Broken Baby Puppet required for the crying woman’s side quest. Once you have it, go inside the house on Elysion Boulevard and give it to the crying woman.

Get the Patience Amulet on the left in front of the boss room.

There is a treasure chest to the left in front of the boss room which contains the Patience Amulet.

Defeat the Scrapped Watchman (Boss)

Summon a Specter and use it as a decoy.

You can summon a friendly Specter using Star Fragments before going into the boss area. The Specter can act as a decoy to distract the boss while you attack it from a relatively safe position during the fight.

Watch for the delay when the boss performs its whirling slam attack and guard it.

The Scrapped Watchman uses a lot arm swing and slam attacks that have some delay before they actually hit you. Keep this in mind, especially when attempting to Perfect Guard its attacks.

Watch for the delay when the boss performs its Fury Attack.

The Scrapped Watchman can perform two different Fury Attacks. One is a slam with both hands while the other is a jump attack. Both of these moves have somewhat delayed windups even after the boss starts to glow red so wait a bit before timing your Perfect Guard.

The boss will cover itself in electricity when its HP is at 50%.

When the boss’ HP is nearly half, it will become electrified. When you observe some text at the bottom of the screen, move away.

You should also watch out for glowing spots on the ground after the boss performs an attack. Stay away from them as electricity will pulse from them after a short delay.

Avoid the boss’ grab attack when it winds up its right hand.

If you see the boss extend its right hand, be sure to dodge. Getting grabbed is almost a guaranteed instant death if your current HP is just about at half.

Go back to Hotel Krat and talk to Geppetto.

After defeating the Scrapped Watchman, return to Hotel Krat via the Stargazer. Talk to Geppetto on the second floor to unlock P-Organ upgrades.
