Differences in NG+

NG+ features several differences from your previous playthrough to make the game both more challenging and rewarding.

  • Increased regular enemy and boss HP
  • Increased regular enemy and boss damage
  • Increased Runes gained from defeating regular enemies and bosses
  • New obtainable equipment from certain regular enemies and bosses (to be confirmed)
  • New story events available (to be confirmed)

NG+ and Beyond

Beating the game for the first time allows you to begin NG+ when you continue your cleared game save file. Subsequent clears will continue to increase enemy difficulty by giving them more health and damage output than the previous playthrough. A run of the game after completing NG+ is called commonly called NG+1 and the run after that NG+2 (and so on).

Multiple NG+ clears is assumed to cap at NG+7 where any subsequent clears will no longer grant enemies more health and damage. Please note that this is currently being confirmed.
