Increase Pulse Cells 1
Prioritize getting Increase Pulse Cells 1 which increases the maximum number of times you can heal HP using Pulse Cells.
Equipping two skills to empty slots will allow you to activate Increase Pulse Cells 1. Use Quartz obtained from defeating bosses or clearing Trinity Sanctums to equip skills.
Recommended Phase 1 Nodes (Increase Pulse Cells 1)
- Increase Ergo upon Eliminating an Enemy 1 (Item) – Allows you to get more Ergo for defeating enemies which makes it easier to level up or purchase items from shops.
- Enhance Guard Regain Recovery 1 (Survival) – Allows you to regain more HP when you attack after guarding an enemy’s attack. Extremely useful skill during boss fights.
Increase Staggerable Window 1
Extending the staggerable duration of enemies (white HP gauge) is generally more useful than Add Fable Slots 1 and Link Dodge. Unless you are going for a build that focuses on Fable Arts or prefer dodging to guarding, you should get this ability.
Recommended Phase 1 Nodes (Increase Staggerable Window 1)
- Enhance Fatal Attack ATK 1 (Attack) – Among the best skills to get for fighting human enemies as it greatly increases the damage of backstabs (rear Fatal Attacks).
- Lower Damage when Discharged 1 (Survival) – You will often be in Discharge state during boss battles. Being able to reduce incoming damage while in the state, therefore, will increase your chances of surviving attacks.

Increase Pulse Cells 2
As with the first phase version of this ability, you will simply have better survivability by increasing the usage limit of Pulse Cells.
Recommended Phase 2 Nodes (Increase Pulse Cells 2)
- Enhance Pulse Cell Recovery 1 (Survival) – Essential skills for survivability as it increases the amount of HP recovered by each Pulse Cell use.
- Reduces Stamina Consumption from Dash (Ability) – The less stamina you use for dashing, the more frequently you are able to dodge or run away from enemy attacks.
Add Amulet Slots 1
Being able to equip more Amulets lets you benefit from more passive effects and buffs which is always useful in the game.
Recommended Phase 2 Nodes (Add Amulet Slots 1)
- Lower Stamina Consumption when Discharged (Ability) – As with other buffs that activate during Discharge, getting this will mostly help you during boss battles where you are frequently under the state.
- Enhance Weapon ATK when Discharged 1 (Attack) – As with other buffs that activate during Discharge, getting this will mostly help you during boss battles where you are frequently under the state.
