How does Guard Regain work?

Recovers HP lost from guarding enemy attacks.

In Lies of P, blocking or guarding enemy attacks will still reduce some of your HP.

If you take some hits while guarding, your health bar will be divided into two. The left bar is for your HP, while the darker bar on the right is for the Guard Regain.

Fortunately, the lost HP or the damage you took while guarding can be recovered by attacking your enemies. This feature is called “Guard Regain”.

Guard Regain scales with the Vitality stat.

Increasing your Vitality stat will also increase your Guard Regain attribute.

As the Guard Regain attribute increases, the amount of HP that you will recover from a single attack also increases.

If your Guard Regain is high enough, a single attack may be able to fully recover the damage you took from guarding.

In addition, the Guard Regain can be very useful during boss fights, so if you are unsure of which stat or attribute to invest in, you may consider the Vitality stat as it improves both your Guard Regain and survivability in battle.
