How to Beat the Parade Master in Lies of P

- Use Electric Blitz Abrasives to deal more damage.
- Dodge boss’ swipe attack with a well-timed forward doge.
- Take advantage of Guard Regain and block the boss’ downward slam attack.
- You can only dodge or Perfect Guard the boss’ Fury Attack.
- The boss attack patterns change when its HP is below 50%.
- When the boss’ HP turns white, aim for a Fatal Attack.
Use Electric Blitz Abrasives to deal more damage.
It is recommended to buy some Electric Blitz Abrasives from the Wandering Merchant before going into the fight. This item temporarily enchants your weapons with lightning which the boss is weak to. Use it to deal more damage per hit.
Dodge boss’ swipe attack with a well-timed forward doge.
When you see the boss cross its arms, be ready to dodge forward to avoid getting hit entirely.
Take advantage of Guard Regain and block the boss’ downward slam attack.
You can try blocking the boss’ slam attack instead of dodging it to trigger Guard Regain. This allows you to temporarily regain some HP with each strike you do after blocking a foe’s attack.
You can only dodge or Perfect Guard the boss’ Fury Attack.
When the boss glows red, it is winding up a Fury Attack. Note that this cannot be blocked regularly. You can only avoid taking damage if you Perfect Guard or evade. Since Perfect Guards may be hard to time, try evade the attack instead.
The boss attack patterns change when its HP is below 50%.
When the boss HP falls below 50%, it will pull out its head and it will become more aggressive. The area near its mid section (crotch) is relatively safe in this face so stay there to avoid getting hit too often. Use Electric Blitz Abrasives if you still have any left to end the fight quickly.
When the boss’ HP turns white, aim for a Fatal Attack.
When the boss’s HP bar turns white, press and hold R2 to perform a charge attack to stagger him. Doing so allows you to unleash a Fatal Attack that deals massive damage.
Enter Hotel Krat.
After defeating the Parade Master, move forward and enter Hotel Krat. Be sure to lie and say that you are human so you can get inside.
