Lies of P New Game Plus (NG+) Guide
Pre-NG+ Checklist
Real Boy: They All Lived Happily Ever After Route (“Give Heart to Geppetto”)
- After defeating Simon Manus (Arm of God and Awakened God), return to Hotel Krat. Go to Geppetto’s study and read the letter to unlock The Story of One Father achievement (bronze trophy).
- Play the piano to unlock The Pianist of Krat achievement (silver trophy).
- Exchange any boss Ergo you still posses with Explorer Hugo to get any remaining special weapons.
- Find and purchase any remaining normal weapons, items, and Records.
- Spend ergo to level up.

Rise of P Route (“Pure Lies”)
- After defeating Simon Manus (Arm of God and Awakened God), return to Hotel Krat. Go to Geppetto’s study and examine the long nose portrait. Then, play all Records one after the other. Approach the portrait again to get the Golden Lie special weapon.
- Go to Under the Abyss and choose “Refuse” when Geppetto asks for your Heart.
- Defeat the Nameless Puppet.
- After the credits, exchange the Nameless Puppet’s Ergo with Explorer Hugo to get Proof of Humanity special weapon.
- Exchange any boss Ergo you still posses with Explorer Hugo to get any remaining special weapons. Note that this is the only route that allows you to unlock the Special Weapon Collector achievement (silver trophy) rewarded for obtaining all special (boss) weapons in the game.
- Go to Geppetto’s study and read the letter to unlock The Story of the Blue Butterfly achievement (bronze trophy).
- Play the piano to unlock The Pianist of Krat achievement (silver trophy).
- Find and purchase any remaining normal weapons, items, and Records.
- Spend ergo to level up.
