News SG - First Impressions on Persona 5 Scramble Teased

Famitsu's editor briefly describes his spoiler free experience after completing Persona 5 Scramble.

Overview

Famitsu delivers their first impression of the new action RPG, Persona 5 Scramble, in their Weekly January 30, 2020 issue.

Spending time in Okinawa

Famitsu’s editor shared a no-spoiler impression of his P5S experience on their latest article. With many of the images focusing on Okinawa, it is likely that the editor also touched on many of the new mechanics teased in the newsletter such as the use of “Phantom moves,” “Hacking Battles,” Cooking, and new sidequests. Among these, the editor also shared a large image of a scene in the game. The image showed Futaba and Joker sharing a moment in a cable car.

The scan of the weekly issue is quite small so unfortunately the texts are hard to read. Many of the images on the editorial match with the latest P5S teaser which revolved around the charming island of Okinawa as well as the secrets that the group are about to unravel. In fact, the events posted here mostly coincide with those that were shown in Morgana’s January 10, 2020 Newsletter. For example, the left hand side of the scan featured some of the scenes like scenes from the resort island. Meanwhile, the images at the bottom covered the eerie site known as “Jail” which resemble an abandoned warehouse.

The January 30, 2020 issue is set to be released on January 16, 2020, roughly only a few days from now.
