To gain advantage, it is recommended to have Ground-Type Pokemon that can outspeed them with the item Choice Scarf. Despite their quickness, their defenses are frail which makes Pokemon with Choice Item boosted powerful and type advantageous STAB moves great counters.
Be wary of Salazzle that is holding a Focus Sash. Since there is a very high chance of it striking first with Fake Out, use a Garchomp with a Hidden Ability Rough Skin to nullify Salazle’s Focus Sash.
