Melemele Island Walkthrough

Beginning the journey isn't easy. And when you're starting your journey, the first island you land in is Melemele Island.

Items (cave)

X Attack Near the cave entrance

You don’t need to leave Melemele Island right away after beating Hala. The Tauros in your Ride Pager will let you explore more of the island, get more items and catch more Pokémon!

Return home after beating Hala. Take a quick nap in your bed to refresh your Pokemon. Your pet Meowth will wake you up after a few seconds, and drop an Awakening.

Go out of your house and move towards the Pokemon Research Lab. Go west and smash through the rocks using Tauros, then enter the cave. Get the X Attack near the entrance. Break through the rocks blocking your way, then go up the fork in the path to get a Super Potion and an Ultra Ball. Hop down through the ledge, then break through another bank of rocks.

Ignore the big rock blocking your way because you won’t be able to move it for now. Move up and enter Ten Carat Hill’s Farthest Hollow.

Ten Carat Hill’s Farthest Hollow is a huge space with wide patches of grass. There aren’t any trainers here, so you can focus on adding entries to your Rotom Dex.

Walk along the path going in, and pick up the Hard Stone on your left as well as a Nugget directly ahead of you.

Move up and to the right from where you found the Nugget to get a Burn Heal. From there, head down into the grass and to the right, following the sloping path to get TM62 (Acrobatics).

Return to the spot where you found the Hard Stone, then go the other direction to pick up a Great Ball. Walk up to the patch of grass where you found the Nugget and check around it to get a Star Piece.
