The Mysterious Eighth Walkthrough Summary
- Clear “The Heroine’s Secret” side quest.
- Talk to Rotana in the Gerudo Shelter.
- Collect 7 orbs.
- Get the first orb.
- Get the second orb.
- Get the third orb.
- Get the fourth orb.
- Get the fifth orb.
- Get the sixth orb.
- Get the seventh orb.
- Put the orbs on the statues.
- Go downstairs and examine the giant orb.
- Carry the giant orb to the North Gerudo Ruins using “Ultra Hand”.
- Drop the giant orb into the hole at the Gerudo Sanctuary.
- Enter the underground sanctuary.
- Move the boards out of the way and proceed further underground.
- Proceed further until you see a locked path, then take the left path.
- Drop down until you reach a water pool.
- Move forward, then use “Ascend” and proceed to the room with 3 boards blocking the path.
- Move the board on your left to proceed further.
- Destroy the rock that is blocking the path.
- Use “Dash” across the falling stone bridge.
- Enter the Statue of the Eighth Heroine Room.
- Get the Gerudo Shield.
- Get the weapons inside the Statue of the Eighth Heroine Room.
- Get the 300 Gold Rupees inside the treasure chest.
- Return to Gerudo Town and talk to Rotana.
- Receive the Diamond from Rotana.

How to get the Third Orb
You can get the third orb from the area where you acquired the Gerudo Spear.
How to get the Fourth Orb
The fourth orb is buried under the sand; blow it up by using a Korok Fan or a Zonai Fan.
How to get the Fifth Orb
The fifth orb can be found inside the underground bar in Gerudo Town.
How to get the Sixth Orb
You can use “Ascend” above the bed or climb the ladder on the right.
How to get the Seventh Orb
The seventh orb can be found in Gerudo Shelter’s main hall, where Rotana usually stands.
Carry the giant orb to the North Gerudo Ruins using “Ultra Hand”
Bring the giant orb to the North Gerudo Ruins and find the entrance to the Gerudo Sanctuary.
Drop the giant orb into the hole to enter the sanctuary.
Move the boards out of the way and proceed further underground
Move the boards to unblock the path and proceed further underground.
Proceed further until you see a locked path, then take the left path to proceed
Take the left path to proceed further.
Enter the room with 3 boards blocking the path, then move the board on the left to proceed further
Inside the room, there are three boards: the correct way on the left, an enemy in the center, and some wooden arrows on the right.
Use “Dash” across the falling stone bridge
The stone bridge will crumble as soon as you step on it. Use “Dash” to cross the bridge safely.
In case you fall down, you can still climb back up and reach the other side.
Enter the Statue of the Eighth Heroine Room
Enter the Statue of the Eighth Heroine Room. Each statue has an item on it, such as the Gerudo Shield, Gerudo Scimitar, Gerudo Bow, Gerudo Spear, Gerudo Claymore and in the middle you can get 300 Gold Rupees inside the treasure chest.
It is said that once the red moon rises, the items inside the Gerudo Sanctuary will be replenished. You can get those items again if you need them.
