Interceptor Javelin Information

The Interceptor is a lightning-fast and highly maneuverable javelin in Anthem. It excels at getting close and dealing damage to enemies before dashing away before they can respond. Despite its high offensive potential, it has scant armor, so players are required to move around to avoid damage.

Javelin Features

Ultimate Ability – Assassin’s Blade

  • (Must have maxed gauge) Directional pad up + R2

When your gauge is full, you can activate Assassin’s Blade for a limited time. When equipped, the Interceptor’s attacks with the R2 or △ buttons leave afterimages of itself that also attack other targets in the area.

Three-stage jump

  • Press and hold x, then tap x again up to two times

The Interceptor can perform a three-stage jump. You can extend flight mode after the first jump by pressing and holding x. The second and third stage jumps only launch you up a certain height.

Dash jump to increase distance

  • L3 + x

By pressing x during a dash, you will be able to extend the distance you cover after the jump.

Rapid evasion up to three times

  • o during movement or flight

You can perform rapid evasion up to three times by pressing and holding the o button. Performing the move in the air results in a barrel roll.

Shield recharges with high movement speed

  • Normal State

The Interceptor’s shield recharges if you move at high speed.

Javelin Gear and Abilities


The Interceptor is capable of wielding all weapon types except for Heavy Weapons, which can only be used by the Colossus Javelins.
