Sir Ansbach, Leda, and Freyja Questline Summary

Speak to Freyja at the Site of Grace: Three-Path Cross.

Head to the Site of Grace: Three-Path Cross and speak with Freyja until all her dialogue options have been depleted. This step is necessary to advance the questline and prompt Freyja to relocate to the Site of Grace on the Storehouse’s Seventh Floor.

Speak to Freyja at Shadow Keep and the Site of Grace: Storehouse, Seventh Floor.

Proceed to the Site of Grace: Storehouse, Seventh Floor, and speak with Freyja. She will express regret for not having sought Sir Ansbach’s knowledge when she had the opportunity.

Speak to Sir Ansbach at the Site of Grace: Main Gate Cross.

Sir Ansbach can be found at the Site of Grace: Main Gate Cross, but if he is not present there, he will be in the Storehouse, First Floor of Shadow Keep. Talk to Sir Ansbach to progress further in this questline.

Get the Secret Rite Scroll.

Set the Site of Grace: Storehouse, Fourth Floor as your starting point, then head up the stairs where there is a fire mage enemy and go down the next stairs on the west side. Enter the room and get the Secret Rite Scroll on top of the table.

Give the Secret Rite Scroll to Sir Ansbach.

Return to the Site of Grace: Storehouse, First Floor, and give the Secret Rite Scroll to Sir Ansbach. Tell him about Freyja’s choice to receive the “Letter to Freyja.”

Deliver the letter to Freyja.

Head to the Site of Grace on the Storehouse’s Seventh Floor and present the letter to Freyja. Continue talking with her until all dialogue options are exhausted to receive the Golden Lion Shield and progress further in the questline.

Inform Sir Ansbach about Freyja’s message.

Return to Sir Ansbach at the Site of Grace: Storehouse, First Floor, and relay Freyja’s message. Note that if Sir Ansbach is not present at the location, you can proceed to the next quest objective.

Speak to the Needle Knight Leda at the Site of Grace: Highroad Cross.

Go to the Site of Grace: Highroad Cross and speak to the Needle Knight Leda until she repeats the same dialogue. If she fails to do so, leave the Site of Grace, return to her, and continue speaking with her.

Head to the Storehouse, First Floor, and enter Sir Ansbach’s room.

Return to Sir Ansbach’s room in the Storehouse, First Floor, and interact with the gold summoning sign to summon Sir Ansbach. Note that you have to summon Sir Ansbach during this quest objective in order to have him aid you in the upcoming boss battles.

Head to the Church of the Bud and set the Sealing Tree on fire.

Proceed to the Church of the Bud and burn the Sealing Tree to continue in the questline. Remember, you must defeat Messmer on the top floor of the Storehouse before you are able to set the tree on fire.

Summon Sir Ansbach before the Needle Knight Leda boss fight.

Head to Enir-Ilim and progress until you reach the golden summoning sign, which you will find in the area before the Needle Knight Leda boss fight. Summon Thiollier and Sir Ansbach to aid you in the battle and to progress further.

Defeat the Needle Knight Leda and interact with Sir Ansbach.

Once you have successfully defeated the Needle Knight Leda, take the elevator and speak with Sir Ansbach near the exit. Continue speaking to him until all his dialogue is exhausted.

Defeat the final boss.

If you have done the steps above correctly, you will be able to summon Sir Ansbach in the final boss battle. In addition, if you have completed the St. Trina and Ansbach questline, you will be able to summon Ansbach as well. With these two by your side, the final boss battle will be much easier.

How to Get Ansbach’s Weapon and Armorset

Summon Ansbach and defeat the final boss battle.

Before challenging the final boss in the DLC, summon Ansbach again by interacting with the golden summoning sign. After defeating the final boss, Ansbach will drop every piece of equipment he has, allowing you to get Ansbach’s Weapon and Armorset (Wise Man’s Mask, Ansbach’s Attire, Ansbach’s Manchettes, Ansbach’s Boots, Obsidian Lamina, and Furious Blade of Ansbach).
