Stargazer Guide for Lies of P

What is the Stargazer?

A Stargazer is like the bonfire in Dark Souls games. Touching it will cause enemies to respawn and reset the number of times your Pulse Cells (basic healing item) can be used. Additionally, you can teleport to another Stargazer, rearrange your weapons, and switch between Legion Arms.

Leveling up is initially done at a Stargazer at the beginning of the game. This function will no longer be available once you defeat the first boss Parade Master and arrive at Hotel Krat.

What You Can Do at a Stargazer

1. Charge the Pulse Cell.

Interacting with the Stargazer will fully charge your Pulse Cells (healing potion). If the number of uses of the Pulse Cell reaches zero, touch the Stargazer to fully replenish it.

2. Respawn enemies on the field.

Enemies will respawn when you interact with the Stargazer. The placement of enemies that you defeat along the way is fixed so when touching the Stargazer will cause them to be revived in the same location. Mid-bosses and major story bosses, however, will not respawn.

3. Teleport to another Stargazer.

“Teleport to Another Stargazer” allows you to fast travel to other Stargazers you have released. In addition to other Stargazers, you can also warp back to Hotel Krat. Once you arrive at Hotel Krat, you will no longer be able to “level up” with Stargazer. Instead, this feature becomes accessible by talking to Sophia at the hotel.

4. Switch Legion Arms

“Switch Legion Arm” allows you to switch your the equipped Legion Arm on your left arm. Note that Legion Arms can only be changed from a Stargazer or by talking to Eugenie.

5. Rearrange Weapons

“Rearrange Weapons” allows you to change the combination of any normal weapon’s blade and handle. Starting weapons and those purchased from Wandering Merchants are obtained with the blade and handle set combined, but if you have the Enigma Assembly Tool that you received from Geppetto, you will be able to separate the weapon’s blade and handle and reassemble them.

The normal weapon’s attack power and attributes are determined by its blade part. The armament’s moveset and stat scaling (Motivity, Technique, Advance), meanwhile, depend on the attached handle. Therefore, by changing the combination of your weapon’s blade and handle, you can transform it into a completely different armament. The Enigma Assembly Tool is obtained from Geppetto, who you meet after defeating the Mad Donkey boss.

6. Use Storage

“Use Storage” allows you to deposit the contents of your bag at a Stargazer. You can store not only consumable items, but also weapon enhancement materials and equipment. There is a limit to the number of consumables that can fit your inventory, so it is useful to store excess supplies in the storage.

If you store equipment and weapon enhancement materials in the storage, you will have to take the trouble to take them out when upgrading or rearranging weapons, so there is no benefit storing them in the storage. Weapons and materials do not contribute to weight unless equipped on your belt, so it is more convenient to keep them in your bag.
