Cap Kingdom Purple Coin

The Cap Kingdom Purple Coin or Local Coin is shaped like a top hat similar to the original body of Cappy. These purple coins are scattered around Bonneton.

Purple Coin Locations

Set 1 (x3)

At the puddle of water near the bridge.

Set 2 (x3)

Behind the largest hill near the Odyssey.

Set 3 (x3)

At the top of the archway after crossing the bridge. You may capture a frog nearby to get to the top.

Set 4 (x4)

Found at a hidden area behind a wooden pole. Throw Cappy at the pole to make it disappear.

Set 5 (x3)

Found behind three wooden poles near the Crazy Cap store.

Set 6 (x3)

Found behind some breakable wooden crates.

Set 7 (x3)

At the bottom platform to the north of the area is a red door. Enter the room and you will find the purple coins nearby. Capture a frog to reach the high platform where the purple coins are located.

Set 8 (x4)

Beneath the platform to the north. Capture a Paragoomba and fly to the bottom of the platform to get the purple coins. You can capture a Paragoomba by capturing a frog and jumping on a platform where a Paragoomba is flying around.

Set 9 (x4)

At an isolated platform to the north. Capture a Paragoomba to get to the purple coins.

Set 10 (x4)

At a platform below the second bridge. Capture a Paragoomba to get to the purple coins.

Set 11 (x4)

At an icy platform in the second level of Top Hat Tower. Capture a frog to reach the purple coins.

Set 12 (x4)

Capture a frog at the second level of Top Hat Tower and go back to the entrance. Go on top of the two blocks to the right of the entrance and jump to reveal some hidden blocks. Jump onto the hidden blocks to reach the top of the structure where the purple coins are located.

Set 13 (x4)

After defeating the boss at Cap Kingdom, head to the second bridge and capture the Paragoomba. Fly to the back of Top Hat Tower and go through the red door. Once at the secret room, capture a Paragoomba and fly beneath the platform that leads to the exit and go to the platform to the north where the purple coins are located.

Set 14 (x4)

After defeating the boss at Cap Kingdom, go behind the top of Top Hat Tower and you will see a red door. Inside the red door is a secret room where you need to travel through several cables as an electric current. Near the start of the level, you will see several purple coins. Go to the top of the square-shaped line of cables and press the ZL button to jump down the platform to get the coins.
