The Snow Kingdom Purple Coin or Local Coin is shaped like a big snowflake. These purple coins are scattered around Shiveria.

Purple Coin Locations

Set 1 (x2)

Behind the Odyssey.

Set 2 (x2)

At the edge of the ice wall to the southwest once the blizzard subsides.

Set 3 (x4)

From the Set 2 Purple coins, head east and look for small alcoves in the wall. These alcoves are blocked by ice, so break them using Cappy to get the purple coins.

Set 4 (x3)

Enter the Icicle Cavern from Shiveria town and make a stack of Goombas. Go to the upper floor and you can reach the purple coins in that area using the Goomba stack.

Set 5 (x4)

In the Icicle Cavern, search for big ice pillars behind some giant icicles. Perform several wall jumps between the two pillars to the left to get the purple coins.

Set 6 (x3)

At the Hollow Crevasse (accessible through Shiveria Town), go to the left of the entrance and you will see three purple coins. Use a Bitefrost to lift you up the air to get the purple coins.

Set 7 (x3)

At the Hollow Crevasse, go to the end of the main platform then climb up the structure where the second Bitefrost is located. Use a Bitefrost to lift you up the air to get the purple coins to the right.

Set 8 (x3)

At the Wind-Chill Cavern (accessible through Shiveria Town), go to the last Ty-Foo in the area and capture it. Go to the left where there is a movable stair-shaped block. You will find three purple coins in that area.

Set 9 (x4)

At the Wind-Chill Cavern, capture a Ty-Foo and go to the middle of the poison lake. You will find four coins nearby.

Set 10 (x3)

In Shiveria Town, go to the Snowy Mountain. At the first air gust in the higher floor, look along the ledge to the left to get the purple coins.

Set 11 (x3)

Go up the Snowy Mountain and look for a hidden path or alcove that is block by snowdrift (behind the gust that leads to a Power Moon). Before getting the Power Moon in the hidden path, look down and you will see three purple coins at the bottom platform. Once you get the three coins, you can go back up by performing a series of wall jumps.

Set 12 (x3)

After opening all four passages in Shiveria Town, go down and head to Snowline Circuit and enter room to the side to find one Shiverian Racer, Before going to the racer, walk to the ledge to the right behind the large snowdrift to get the purple coins.

Set 13 (x4)

Once you’ve captured the Shiverian Racer, go to the next room and look around to find four purple coins.

Set 14 (x2)

On the lowest platform near the Above the Ice Well checkpoint flag.

Set 15 (x4)

To the right of the warp pipe in Shiveria that leads to the Odyssey.

Set 16 (x3)

Go north from the outdoors area of Shiveria Town and you will see a big icy pool where two Cheep Cheeps are surrounding three purple coins. Dive into the pool and capture a Cheep Cheep to get the purple coins.
