Giving Pokémon Food
In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you can give your Pokémon various types of food items that you obtain in the game. These are likely to provide a number of useful effects which have not yet been revealed in official sources. Despite this, it is safe to assume that food may affect your Pokémon’s performance in battle or their mood in the game.
Favorite Food of Pokémon
Each type of Pokémon found in the Hisui Region prefer different foods which is indicated in the Pokedex upon further study of each species. Giving Pokémon their favorite food is also expected to grant useful effects, much more so than giving them food that they do not like. More information on this will be added when the game comes out.
Where to Get Food Items
General Store
The general store at Jubilife Village is likely to sell a variety of usable items which may include food for Pokémon in the game. More food items may also be added upon progressing through the main story and raising your rank in the Galaxy Expedition Team’s survey corps.
Gingko Guild Merchants
Ginter and his group of Gingko Guild merchants are also expected to have some food items in stock, along with several other rare finds that they stumble upon while exploring the Hisui Region.
