What is the Crafting Kit?
The Crafting Kit is a key item that lets you craft items from materials stored in your satchel without the need to use workbenches in base camps. This essentially lets you create items on the go which is incredibly useful during main story missions and requests.

Where to Find the Crafting Kit
Obtained during the mission Getting to Work on Research Tasks.
The Crafting Kit is given by Rei/Akari during the main mission Getting to Work on Research Tasks. Simply follow the mission marker to Rei/Akari’s location until you reach an area with lots of berry trees (the last area Rei/Akari moves to before they tell you to report your survey findings to Professor Laventon).
