Varying Weather Conditions in Different Locations

In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, the different explorable areas in the game each have specific weather conditions that affect the performance of Pokemon in battle. Knowing how to use the weather to your own advantage or work around them is important for winning encounters throughout the main story.
List of Weather Conditions
Below is list of all weather conditions and how they affect combat in the game.

| Strong Sunlight | The Speed of Grass-type Pokemon is boosted. |
| Fog | All moves are less accurate, apart from moves that are always sure to hit. |
| Snow | Pokemon are more likely to get frostbite, and drowsy Pokemon are more likely to fail to act. The Speed of Ice-type Pokemon is also boosted. |
Taking Advantage of the Weather
As mentioned, it is possible to gain the upper-hand in battle by bringing along Pokemon that will benefit from the effects of the area’s weather. Grass-type Pokemon, for instance, will enjoy increased Speed when fighting under strong sunlight while Ice-type Pokemon will gain the same advantage in snowy weather.
It is also worth noting that wild Pokemon found in various areas will usually benefit from effects of the weather found in their habitat. Try to take these things into consideration when attempting to engage wild Pokemon, especially Alphas, in battle.
Does the weather change in a specific location?
It is currently unknown if the type of weather experienced by a particular location will change over time. More information on this will be added when the game comes out.
