Unlocked After Beating the Game on Any Difficulty

The DioField Chronicle - New Game Plus (NG+)

Upon clearing The DioField Chronicle‘s main story campaign for the first time, New Game Plus (NG+) is unlocked. This mode allows you to begin a new playthrough of the game with many elements from your previous run carried over.

Post-Game Unlockables

Things that Carry Over to NG+

The DioField Chronicle - New Game Plus (NG+) Carry Over Features

  • Money (Guld)
  • Equipment (Weapons and Accessories)
  • Items
  • Character Level
  • Attributes
  • Skill Tree Progress
  • Abilities
  • Weapon Development
  • Magilumic Orb Research
  • Badges
  • Play Time
Enemy Level is Reset in NG+

Note that enemy level does not scale and will be the same as your first run of the game. Since you will essentially be beginning the main story again with end-game gear and high-level characters, you are likely to clear missions much more easily.

Things to Do in NG+

Most of the things to do in NG+ are primarily for unlocking all remaining trophies and achievements you missed on your first playthrough of the main story campaign to get 100% completion (Platinum).

Max out units that you did not use in your previous playthrough

NG+ gives you the opportunity to max out the skills and abilities of your units, especially those that you seldom included in your team during your first run.

Fast Leveling Guide

Continue Weapon Development, Magilumic Orb Research, and Blue Fox Badges progress

You can also pick up from where you left off on your Weapon Development, Magilumic Orb Research, and Blue Fox Badges progress at The Institute.

Clear missions on higher difficulty modes

NG+ is also good for taking on missions on higher difficulty modes to test your grasp of the game’s mechanics after having completed the entirety of the game.
