The game’s real-time strategy-style gameplay is also optimized well for playing on a mouse and keyboard for smoother gameplay which may not be true for the Switch, PS4, and PS5.

Note that getting the game on Steam can also afford you the convenience of being able to take the game anywhere if you own a Steam Deck.

Nintendo Switch for portability.

If you prefer to be able to take the game wherever you go, the Switch version of The DioField Chronicle is the best choice. This advantage comes at the cost of Switch version having  lower graphics, loading times, and framerate compared to playing on the console or PC which may or may not be a big drawback for you.
