Recommended Unit Placement
Role | Units |
---|---|
Tank | Izelair, Andrias |
DPS | Andrias, Fredret, Iscarion, Waltaquin |
Healer | Waltaquin |
Tank Units
Assign tank melee units such as Izelair or Andrias to the frontlines in order to lure enemies and become a damage sponge.
DPS Units
Command melee DPS units like Fredret to assist in terms of damaging the target from another position like the rear. As for range DPS units like Iscarion and Waltaquin, you must place them from a distance and away from the target range of other enemy units.
Healer Units
Set your healer and support units like Waltaquin away from the fight. However, make them reachable by your other units when they need protection or cover from other enemy units. Preferably get these units close to range DPS units like Iscarion.
Battle and Strategy Guide
Have a balanced team
Before you start the battle, make sure you have all class types playable in battle: a Soldier, a Cavalier, a Sharpshooter, and a Magicker. We prefer picking Andrias over Izelair as the active Soldier unit.
Assign non-active units as adjutants
In addition, assign a non-active Soldier unit (Izelair) as an adjutant. Adjutant units are not deployed in battle but their skills are usable by the active unit they are supporting. This means Andrias can use tank-related skills or Izelair can use dagger-related skills.
Command units altogether to defeat multiple enemies
On your side of the bridge, there will be three enemies. Command the melee units to aggro the enemies and lump them near each other. Make use of Iscarion and Waltaquin’s AoE skills to damage them in groups.
Another group of the same composition will come from behind. Repeat the same tactic against them. Don’t utilize the Explosive Keg nearby yet.
Set units in pairs to isolate groups of enemies
There will be two groups of enemies appearing on the opposite side of the bridges. Assign one melee DPS and one range DPS unit to eliminate the pair of sharpshooters.
The same tactic applies to the pair of soldier units. Still, ignore the Explosive Kegs for now.
Use the Explosive Keg to eliminate the groups of undead
After a brief cutscene, groups of undead will emerge. Take out the group coming from northeast and east by using the Explosive Keg nearby. Set the explosive off when both groups are in the range of the explosion.
A smaller group will come out from the east and command your units to defeat them.
Use skills like Meteor Fall and Rain of Arrows to deal AoE damage
Another wave of undead will emerge from the west, close to the treasure chest. Take them out before they break the barricade. Use AoE active skills like Iscarion’s Fantail Formation and Waltaquin’s Meteor Fall to deal damage quickly.
The last wave of undead will come out from the northwest and northeast side. Let them cross before setting the bridges on fire using an Explosive Keg or Waltaquin’s Meteor Fall.
Examine the treasure chest
While setting up your final offense, don’t forget to send one unit to examine the treasure chest.
Summon Bahamut to finish off the remaining enemies
If you’re out of EP, summon Bahamut to finish off the last group of enemies.
