This page contains a guide on how to obtain the Blaine County Sheriff SUV in Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5), including the vehicle’s description, best methods and where to find it in the game.
How to Get the Blaine County Sheriff SUV
The Blaine County Sheriff SUV is arguably the best SUV in Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5), being a direct improvement over the civilian version of the vehicle in almost every way. It has outstanding acceleration, rivaling that of the Interceptor. The firm suspension prevents it from flipping over when turning around sharp corners even at high speed. It performs very well in nearly any off-road situation.
In terms of armor, the Blaine County Sheriff SUV has better protection than the Granger (especially head-on collisions). Up to 8 people can ride the vehicle (1 on the driver seat, 3 passengers and 4 that can hang on the side rails). Keep in mind that those hanging on the side rails will be able to use heavy machine guns and even assault rifles.
The only downside to the Blaine County Sheriff SUV is that it is very hard to obtain.
For the Blaine County Sheriff SUV to appear, you must first have a friend who is at a 4-star wanted level in Blaine County. An ideal spot is Paleto Bay where it can also be modified.
The moment your friend reaches a 4-star wanted level in Paleto Bay, the vehicle should start to appear. When you see one, have your friend drive a large vehicle (preferably the Barracks) and ram it against the Blaine County Sheriff SUV until it is pinned to a wall. This is then your chance to hijack and drive the vehicle away. Of course, you will incur a wanted level after stealing the SUV, so call Lester and ask him to erase the wanted level for a small fee.
You can park the vehicle in your garage. Be sure to head on to Beaker’s garage to have it fitted with a tracker. An insurance is also highly recommended, as the Blaine County Sheriff SUV is quite an incredible find.
