Molotov Cocktail Guide
Molotov cocktails are bottles filled with flammable liquid with a piece of rag partially inserted in the mouth of the bottle. The rag is then ignited and if thrown, will result to the area it hits to be inflamed by the scattered flammable liquid being ignited by the rag that was previously set on fire. Molotov cocktails are usually home made as it is an improvised throwable weapon that can pose threats.
Strategy
Molotov cocktails are used to deter enemies from going to a certain location. The fire will continuously burn for a period of time that will deal damage to the people or players that will step on the area that the fire is affecting. You can also use molotovs to remove players from key positions like buildings with key vantage points atop roofs or areas where they are heavily protected by objects that block them from incoming projectiles.
You can also use molotov cocktails as a way to separate yourself from people who are closing in on you with melee weapons. Use molotovs and aim them between you and your opponent so that the fire created from the explosion will either make them hesitate enough to leave a gap between the two of you or cause him sufficient damage for you to finish the blow when he stays aggressive.
These throwable weapons are also best used in tight areas where escape is more unlikely as the players have minimal space to work with from the fire. They can also easily cause blockage from the exits like doors which will guarantee your kill with the molotov alone.
Use molotovs to block players from escape paths as well. Throwing a molotov ahead of a player trying to escape via doors would lead their path to be blocked thus preventing their escape and allowing you to close in as well.
