Persona 3 Reload (P3RE) Gameplay Differences from Previous P3 Titles
Below are all major differences in Persona 3 Reload (P3RE) from previous Persona 3 titles such as Persona 3 (P3) and Persona 3 Portable (P3P).
Improved Graphics, Menus, and UI
P3RE features modern graphics and completely redesigned menus and UI which will appeal to both new and old players alike. This gives the game a more stylish feel similar to more recent titles in the franchise such as Persona 4 (P4) and Persona 5 (P5).
Redesigned Character SEES Uniforms
Most of the main cast’s SEES uniforms used in investigations have been updated as well in P3RE. While the Protagonist’s default attire had only undergone minimal changes, the rest of the SEES member’s outfits are noticeably different from past P3 versions.
Easier Ways to Max Out Social Links
In earlier ports of P3, it is extremely difficult to max out all Social Link ranks in one playthrough. This has been changed in P3RE where there are now more ways to gain Social Link points in the game towards raising them all to max rank in a single run.

Removal of Status Conditions Mechanic
The Status Conditions mechanic in past P3 games no longer appears in P3RE. This means that characters will not experience changing conditions to their combat performance anymore as indicated by the Excellent, Normal, Fatigued, or Sick statuses.
Is Fatigue in Persona 3 Reload?
This also means that players no longer need to take measures to recuperate such as going to the bathroom or using certain items to return to Normal conditions.
No FeMC (Female Protagonist)
The choice to play as the female protagonist (popularly called FeMC) was introduced in Persona 3 Portable (P3P). This has been removed in P3RE which means that it is now impossible to play as FeMC or access any content unique to her in P3P.
