New Game Plus (NG+) Guide for Persona 3 Reload (P3RE)

Unlocked after clearing the main story for the first time.

Once you complete the main story of Persona 3 Reload (P3RE), a New Cycle is unlocked. This is essentially the game’s version of New Game Plus (NG+) which lets you replay the main story from the beginning with certain elements ang game progress from your previous playthrough carried over.

Carry-Over Features in New Cycle (New Game Plus)

Below are all features carried over to New Cycle (NG+).

• Persona Compendium
• Protagonist (Main Character) Level and Social Stats
• Equipment (Weapons, Armor, and Accessories)
• Costumes and Outfits
• Souvenir Items
• Money

Non-Carry Over Features in New Cycle

• Social Link Ranks
• Character Level (Except for Protagonist)
• Consumable Items (Healing Items, Skill Cards, Jewels, etc.)

Carry-Over Features are Disabled on Merciless Difficulty

Note that most of the carry-over elements listed above cannot be inherited when starting NG+ on Merciless difficulty. The only exception to this are costumes and various souvenir items obtained during your previous run.

Things to Do on NG+ (New Cycle)

Aim for 100% completion (Platinum trophy).

It is possible to get 100% completion (Platinum trophy) in Persona 3 Reload in a single playthrough, though this may be quite challenging to do on your initial run.

For most players, NG+ is a good opportunity to unlock trophies and achievements you missed by meeting specific conditions in the real world, during Dark Hour, or after completing Tartarus Dungeon blocks and floors.
