Ruthless Ice Raven Strategies
Here is a breakdown of the battle strategies against the mini-boss:
Pre-Battle Strategies
Carry HP and SP Recovery Items.
Before engaging the boss, bring some stock of HP and SP recovery items. This will help in cases you need immediate healing to recover lost HP or ran out of SP to use Persona Skills during the boss the fight.
Equip Personas not weak to Slash and Wind attacks.
When it comes to the Protagonist, be careful on using Personas weak to Slash and Wind attacks. This includes Personas like Apsaras. Better to stick to Orpheus or other Personas that are not susceptible to the affinity.
Target one boss at a time.
There will be three enemies during the boss fight. Focus on taking down one at time while sustaining your party with healing and support skills.
On-Battle Strategies
Set Junpei to Guard.
Junpei is weak to Wind attacks so have him on Guard status for the most part. More likely the boss will target him due to his susceptibility to Wind damage.
You can also make him additional support character by letting him use HP and SP items for the rest of the party. If bosses are knocked down, you can command Junpei to take the offensive but be careful.
Land debuffs to the boss.
Start the battle by landing a number of debuffs to one Ruthless Ice Raven first. This will help in reducing the boss enemy’s battle capabilities.
Cast buffs to your party.
Follow-up the debuffs with party member buffs. Focus on your main damage dealer first before covering the rest of your allies.
Use Elemental attacks such as Ice and Elec to inflict Status Ailments.
Ruthless Ice Raven is not resistant to status effects. To inflict Status Ailments such as Freeze or Shock, use Ice attacks or Electricity attacks respectively.
Use Pierce attacks.
Ruthless Ice Raven is weak to Pierce attacks which is covered by Yukari’s Bow weapon. In addition, the Protagonist can do damage if he has Personas that can use Pierce skills, particularly while he is low on SP.
Unleash All-Out Attacks
If the boss enemies are knocked down, you can reduce their HP greatly or finish them off with an All-Out Attack.
