Mysterious Text Data (Work Memorandum) are a form of collectible item found throughout the Old OSF Hospital after reaching Phase 7 during the main story. They do not serve any particular use other than containing interesting lore about experiments that took place in the Old OSF Hospital.
A Total of 10 Mysterious Text Data in the Game
There are a total of 10 Mysterious Text Data that you can get in the area. Their contents can be read via the brain message from the main menu after collecting them.

Rewards
As mentioned, there are no rewards for finding all 10 Mysterious Text Data other than allowing you to obtain the Knowledge of the Past (bronze) achievement if you intend to acquire all trophies in the game.
