Phase 1: Searching for Freedom Walkthrough

OSF Headquarters – Suoh City Ryujin Ward

1	Watch the cutscene.
2	Fast travel to Mizuhagawa District.

Mizuhagawa District

1	After the cutscene, check the use world map and head to the urban development ward. You will be with Shiden Ritter as a party member.
2	Follow the pathway and reach a lower ground area and watch a cutscene. Read the tutorial about SAS.
3	Defeat Scummy Pendu, Bile Pool, Plateau Pendu enemies using your SAS connection with Shiden’s Electrokinesis ability.
4	Once the battle is cleared, follow a circular pathway. Read the tutorial about Perfect Dodge.
5	After defeating enemies, buy new items and SAVE your game through Satori the Archivist.
6	Reach another open area and clear it from enemies, including a Wither Sabbat. Read the tutorial about Special Object Attack.
7	Descend using an elevator and defeat enemies when you go outside.
8	Look for a staircase and go upwards. Follow a tunnel pathway and reach a closed area.
9	After defeating the enemies, leave the closed area and go east. Buy new items and SAVE your game through Satori the Archivist.
10	Proceed to another circular pathway and reach the marked location. Descend using the stairs.
11	Watch the cutscene and get ready for a boss fight against Dispen Perry. Read the tutorial about Status Ailment: Soaked.
12	Return to Suoh City Ryuji Ward after the battle.

Kikuchiba

1	After the cutscene, return to OSF headquarters. You will be with Kyoka Eden as a party member.
2	Head north and reach OSF headquarters. Watch the cutscene.
3	Transfer to Kikuchiba’s Sub-Level Underground Facility.
4	In the starting area, move east and south. Defeat enemies encountered along the way.
5	Go upstairs. Then, move west and north to enter an open area. Clear the area from Vase Paws and read the tutorial about Brain Crush.
6	Go to the upper floor and defeat another wave of enemies. Read the tutorial about SAS Duplication and Shells.
7	Enter a narrow pathway and proceed southeast. Use the stairs to go to another floor. Buy new items and SAVE your game through Satori the Archivist.
8	Go upstairs further and defeat enemies including Kitchen Rummies.
9	Reach the marked location and get ready for a boss fight against Brawn Yawn. Kagero Donne will join your party.
10	Read the tutorial about SAS Invisibility. Make use of the ability when the boss is submerged below. Then, attack it from behind to deal backstab damage.
11	Head northwest and ascend through the stairs. You will return to the city district.
12	Head north and west to watch another cutscene.

Standby Phase 1 – Hideout Part 1

1	After the cutscene, approach the table and investigate.
2	Make sure to read all of your Brain Messages.
3	Start Bond Episode with Yuito.

Standby Phase 1 – Kikuchiba

1	Head east to get an item and north to encounter enemies such as Plateau Pendus.
2	Read the tutorial for SAS Psychokinesis. Move further north and defeat Fuel Pools.
3	Head west and use the long ramp to get to the upper floor. Reach the marked location and use the elevator.
4	Go east and south. Buy new items and SAVE your game through Satori the Archivist. Look for another ramp go get to the next floor.
5	Reach the top and watch for a cutscene. Clear the floor from Vase Paws enemies.

Standby Phase 1 – Hideout Part 2

1	Allocate time to learn new Brain Map Skills, equip new attachments, and equip new visuals.
2	After that take a rest.

Kasane Story Phase 1: Searching for Freedom Strategy

Dispen Perry

Move around and lure the boss under the spot of large objects above the battleground. Use Kasane’s Psychokinesis ability to drop these objects to break the barrel attached to the boss. When Dispen Perry is hit, it will be stunned for a while and be under Soaked status. Use the SAS to access Shiden’s Electrokinesis to deal more damage. Electricity synergize with the Soaked status so it may inflict a bonus shocked status.

Dispen Perry Boss Guide

Brawn Yawn

Use Kagero Donne’s invisibility when the boss is submerged to avoid getting attacked from below. When it comes out use backstab and deal additional combos. Keep doing this method until you defeat the boss.

Vase Paws

Take out one Vase at a time. Bait the Others to jump towards you. Then, move immediately and deal counter damage.
