Walkthrough

Sumeragi Tomb

1	Exit to the main street and head to the OSF Headquarters.
2	Watch the cutscene.

Kikuchiba

1	From your starting location, follow the path east then southeast. Pick up Kikuchiba Environment B x2 along the way.
2	Read the tutorial on SAS invisibility and take out the Buddy Rummy.
3	Go up the stairs to the southeast and follow the alley west and then north to the large room. Read the tutorial on SAS electrokinesis and shocked status and defeat the Bile Pools. Try to use the water drums and soak the enemies before attacking with electrokinesis to shock them.
4	Get Kikuchiba Environment S x1 near the east wall of the large room.
5	Defeat the Buddy Rummies to the north of the room and get Light Jelly x1 on the west side.
6	Get Kikuchiba Environment A x1 to the left of the stairs to the northeast.
7	Go up the stairs and defeat the Scummy Pendus and Buddy Rummies that appear.
8	Take the path to the south and follow it until you find some stairs to the east.
9	Go up the stairs and get Kikuchiba Environment C x2. Afterwards, climb the next set of stairs to the north.
10	Defeat the Buddy Rummies and the Plateau Pendus in the next area. Get Kikuchiba Environment C x2 near the middle of the area and exit through the path to the north.
11	Get Light Jelly x1 and follow the path down some stairs going east. Pick up Kikuchiba Environment C x3 along the way and go down the next set of stairs.
12	Defeat the Buddy Rummies in the next room. Afterwards, pick up the Field Exercise Flag Data in the middle of the room.
13	Go up the stairs to the north again back to the previous area and take out the Plateau Pendus and Scummy Pendus.
14	Exit through the opening in the fence to the southwest. Pick up Light Jelly x1 on your left and go up the stairs to the north to reach the Mid-level shopping District
15	Make your way to the open parking lot while defeating the enemies along the way for a cutscene.
16	Prepare to battle Kasane and read the tutorial on intercept. The game will not result in a game over if you lose, though beating her rewards you with Power Enhance: Mk I.

Suoh City Ryujin Ward

1	Head to Sumeragi Tomb.
2	After getting the message from Wataru, fast travel to Abandoned Subway: Suoh Line 9.

Abandoned Subway: Suoh Line 9

1	Watch the cutscene. Afterwards, go west and get Abandoned Subway Environment C x2.
2	Follow the path north and get SAS Refueling Drink x1 after going over the rubble.
3	Go through the tunnel and read the tutorial on SAS clairvoyance. Afterwards, defeat the Saws Paws.
4	Continue moving north and through the path that opens west. Read the tutorial on train car special object attacks. In the next area, use the train to take out the Scummy Pools standing on the tracks.
5	Go south and get Light Jelly x1 inside the tunnel that leads to a dead end. Backtrack to the previous area and go north.
6	Take out the Rainy Rummies and Scummy Pools in the next room. Afterwards, go through the dead end tunnel to the south to get Abandoned Subway Environment A x3.
7	Head back to the previous room and go east. Get Light Jelly x1 behind the colored wires to your right.
8	Take the passage to the east down into the lower track area. Before going north, turn south get Abandoned Subway Environment C x1 at the dead. Afterwards, enter the passage to the west covered by crates. Jump over the crates and follow the stairs to find Light Jelly x1.
9	Head back to the previous track area and enter the passage to the east. Jump over the crates to get Abandoned Subway Environment S x3.
10	Backtrack again to the track area and go north. Take out the Rainy Rummies that appear.
11	Exit north to reach Inside Abandoned Line.
12	Defeat the Rainy Rummies and Scummy Pool in the next area and read the tutorial on Brain Drive effects.
13	From here, you will see two paths ahead: one that goes northwest and another through an enclosed area to the northeast.
14	Move through the tunnel to the northeast first and take out more Rainy Rummies in the next area. Afterwards, defeat the Brain Yawn. Use the crates and beams to damage. Move to the enemy’s side to avoid lining up to its mouth beam. Stay on the move when it moves underground to avoid its rising attack.
15	After defeating the Brawn Yawn, get Green Curtain: Fresh Verdure x1 on the northwest corner.
16	Exit the area by going south again and back at the fork. Follow the path going northwest this time and take out the enemies along the way.
17	Continue moving north and defeating the enemies along the long tunnel path. Get Light Jelly x1 to the right.
18	At the end of the long tunnel path is another Light Jelly x1 and Satori the Archivist.
19	From there, walk a little ways south and through the passage to the east. Take out the Saws Paws and Scummy Pool ahead and continue following the path going east and north.
20	Defeat the Rainy Rummies and Auger Sabbat in the next area. Note that you can use the train to quickly take out the groups of enemies.
21	After defeating the enemies, go north and through the path that opens to the west. Get Light Jelly x1 in the north side of the next room and continue moving west.
22	Take out the Saws Paws in the next area and go north. Exit through the path to the west to reach another room with Satori the Archivist and Abandoned Subway Environment S x2 at the north end.
23	Afterwards, exit through the passage to the east for a cutscene.
24	Defeat the enemies that appear, focusing on the Rainy Rummies first before leaving the Brain Yawn for last.
25	Take the passage to the east and take out the Others there. Get Fashion Magazine “Rumor” x1 at the northwest corner of the room.
26	Backtrack to the previous room and exit through the passage to the northwest.
27	Pick up Medium Jelly x1 on the southwest corner of the next area and go northwest along the platform with rails to get Abandoned Subway Environment A x3.
28	Afterwards, exit to Osukuni Station to the northeast.
29	Go northwest to find Medium Jelly x1. Go up the escalators to find Light Jelly x1.
30	Backtrack down to the previous area and go east this time. Go up the escalators for a cutscene.
31	Take out the Scummy Pool and Auger Sabbat. Afterwards, watch the cutscene.
32	Prepare to battle Other Naomi.
33	After defeating Naomi, watch the cutscene.
34	Head to the path going east and follow Kasane.
35	Watch the cutscene along the way. Afterwards, continue east along the bridge.
36	When the bridge splits into two (north and south), make a detour and follow the path going southwest to get Abandoned Subway Environment B x2 and OSF Standard Issue Pack (Black) x1 at the dead end.
37	Backtrack to the previous fork and continue following the road going northeast to the marked destination.
38	Watch the cutscene.

Hideout

1	Watch the cutscene.
2	Reply to Arashi’s brain message to begin her Bond Episode.
3	Talk to Tsugumi to begin her Bond Episode.
4	Rest on the sofa.

Phase 2: Days of Disquieting Stagnation Strategy

Defeating Kasane during the Training Mission

A good strategy against Kasane is to wait until she starts charging her special object attack and time your dodge to avoid it. Quickly follow up with an intercept to hurl the object back at her. She should take a fair amount of health and crush damage from it.

You can also try to take her on up close, though be prepared to time perfect dodges when she throws out her three-hit floating knives combo. Time your dodge and follow-up with a counterattack before she recovers.

Note that this approach is quite risky and will lead you to a quick defeat if you mistime your dodge. Be sure to use any Light Jellies stocked up if your health gets too low.

Defeating Other Naomi

Peppering Naomi with special object attacks lets you safely damage her from afar. She does not move very fast, so feel free to rush in and land some melee attacks.

Naomi will eventually fall down when she takes enough damage, giving you more opportunities to unload on her before she gets up.

After lowering Naomi’s health a cutscene will play. Afterwards, the boss will become more aggressive and start throwing out wide-area attacks. Be sure to dodge or get out of the way of her arm pound when she raises one of her arms in the air.

Naomi will also sit upright and release a strong gust of air around her. Use SAS sclerosis (Gemma) to tank through the attack or run away to avoid taking damage. SAS clairvoyance also works well during this phase as it allows you to dodge her attacks and retaliate more easily.

When Naomi briefly crouches, be ready to dodge to the side as she will launch herself forward. It takes a while for her to recover from this attack so get in a few attacks before she recovers.

Be careful when attacking her from behind as Naomi can throw out a spinning swipe when she pulls back one of her arms. She will also use her tentacle-like appendages to strike the ground and impale you from underneath. Simply run around to avoid them.
