Combat Characteristics

By spending time with your fellow SEES members in the dormitory, you can acquire special skills called Combat Characteristics.

Combat Characteristics grant different useful effects in battle such as increased critical hit rate or reducing the cost of using recovery skills. Because of this, take the time to bond with your allies through various side activities while at the dormitory.

Theurgies

In P3RE, special battle abilities called Theurgies have also been added to the game. In battle, a new Theurgy gauge fills when you attacking or use certain skills, though some characters charge their meter up through more specific conditions

Once the Theurgy gauge is full, a character will be able to use their Theurgy which deals massive damage enemies that usually ignore resistances.

Shift

The Baton Pass mechanic featured in Persona 5 Royal (P5R) has also been implemented in P3RE in the form of the new Shift mechanic. This allows characters to “pass” actions to allies, giving more depth to combat encounters throughout the game.

New Cutscenes

New cutscenes and story elements have also been added in P3RE that where not in previous P3 titles. Special Link Episodes that dig deeper into the character (allies and Strega members) as well as world lore appear and can be viewed by meeting specific conditions in the game.

New Tartarus Features

Similar to P5, you are now able to talk to allies while exploring Tartarus dungeons in P3RE. You can also destroy various objects inside these areas to obtain items which can be sold off for money.
