Strategy
Use Stormruler
If your character does not. have any ranged options to attack the Storm King, run toward the monolith forest to get the Stormruler sword that you can use to hit the boss from a distance. Other than the weapon, you can use bows and spells (especially Soul Arrow) to damage Storm King from afar.
Take out the Storm Beasts.
It is recommended to kill off the Storm Beats before turning your attention to the boss during the fight as their barbed projectiles may prove annoying when targeting the Storm King.
Use cover.
The house in the monolith forest gives you a fair amount of cover from projectiles fired by the Storm Beats and Storm King. You can also get behind the tallest pillar near the center of the boss area to shield yourself from incoming attacks.
