Tips and Tricks: GTA Mode
GTA Mode is a game mode in Grand Theft Auto V [GTA 5] where players must steal cars. Similar to the import-export business in offline mode, players must steal vehicles and bring it to their base. This particular mode also allows 16 people to join up in the area. However, the vehicles are not similar in size. Some of the requested vehicles include buses which are quite difficult to transport. However, here are some tips and tricks on how to win in GTA Mode.
Always search for snipers
As it is a vehicle transport mode, always expect snipers. Snipers are the linchpin in these kinds of modes as they can easily snipe the driver while the players are not looking. Snipers often times are found at the top of buildings or hidden behind obstacles to prevent discovery. Majority of their weapons also involve using either Assault Rifles or Sniper Rifles in order to deal heavy damage immediately.
Vehicle Transport requires 2 people
While in GTA Mode, players will have to drive the car back to the base. However, it’s best to have two people sit in the car. Not only will the car provide mobility in GTA mode but it will allow the other player to defend the driver should there be a sniper. There are two roles in GTA Mode: driver and defender. The role of the driver should go to the person who knows the map best. In doing so, the driver then becomes the “playmaker” as he/she is the one deciding where the team should go. The defender is best someone who can easily spot attackers. Snipers are common in GTA mode, making the defender one of the most important roles especially for the one closest to the driver.
Surround the vehicle
Players should escort the vehicle as if they’re escorting the payload. Other players can go ahead and scout for enemies, sweeping through the environment. However, this is difficult for players who are escorting a bus. Because of its big and obvious size, the bus is quite a difficult defend point. However, players can defend it by using the buildings. The buildings, being a high vantage point, helps players immediately spot snipers and enemies when they intend to attack the vehicle.

There are a variety of maps in this particular mode. Some of these maps may have more obstacles than others, giving players unique experiences in GTA Mode.
