What Happens When You Hug Yukari in Persona 3 Reload (P3RE)?
Does not Affect Story Progression
At the event with Yukari on the Yakushima trip on July 20th, you will have the option to “Hug” or “Smile”. Whichever you choose will only change the dialog after the coice and will not affect the progress of the story, so you can choose whatever you like.
Save and load to see both
The choices you make will not affect the progress of the story, but if you want to check both of it, save your data beforehand. If you forget to save, you can roll back up to 2 days, so be sure to save and roll back on July 21st.

In order to romance Yukari, you need to increase Yukari Social Link Rank (Lovers). Lovers social link can be unlocked by talking to Yukari in the 2-F classroom after July 25th at max charm level.
