1 Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster - Ikebukuro TunnelWe recommend clearing the First Kalpa when you finished Ikebukuro Tunnel and haven’t entered Asakusa yet.

2 Use the Terminal room to transfer to the Labyrinth of Amala. If you’re visiting for the time, peep through the holes for a cutscene.
3 Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster - Labyrinth of Amala Deep Zone First Kalpa Hole EntranceAfter the cutscene, proceed north and enter the open southwest hole.

First Kalpa 1F Walkthrough

1 Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster - Labyrinth of Amala Deep Zone First Kalpa Central Area EntranceIn the central area, keep going and reach the north door at the end.
2 Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster - Labyrinth of Amala Deep Zone First Kalpa North Area EntranceEnter the north door and you will reach the north area. You will be in front of a forked path.
3 Go east and obtain the item from a floating cube (Chakra Drop x1).
4 Backtrack to the fork. From there, go west and north when the path opens up to get another item from a floating cube (Bead x1).
5 Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster - Labyrinth of Amala Deep Zone First Kalpa Magic Wall 1Afterwards, approach the wall magic wall to the south and go through it.
6 Walk to the end of the corridor and go down the ladder. You’ll reach the “B1F” level
7 From here, walk west and see a west door. Go inside the door to find a chest (Jade x2).
8 Backtrack up the ladder and go all the way back to the central area. Proceed to the east door.

10 Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster - Labyrinth of Amala Deep Zone First Kalpa Dark Shady BrokerTalk to the Dark Broker inside the room and buy a unique Pisaca (for 15,000 Macca) with access to a number of useful skills.
11 Leave and move east. Then, north towards another north door.

13 In the “B1F” level, enter the door to the south.

A good way to know where a pitfall might be is to look up at the lamps on the ceiling. If the lamp is not lit, the panel under it is a pitfall.
15 Make your way southwest to find a floating cube (Chakra Drop x1). Afterwards, walk east to drop down the hole.

(Optional: Make use of the Bartender Spirits accessible to recover lost HP and MP. Then, they will automatically transfer you back to the Terminal room.)

You’ll return to the B1F level again but from another area. From there, make your way two tiles north, one tile east, two tiles north, and two tiles west. Enter the west door.

21 Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster - Labyrinth of Amala Deep Zone First Kalpa B2F Southeast Dropdown 2You’ll be back at the “B2F” level again. From there, get the chest (Life Stone x1) nearby.
22 Afterwards, go through the southeast exit. Climb up the ladder and walk two tiles north to drop down again.
23 This “B2F” level is similar to your first drop down. Move past the damage floor again. Leave through the same southwest exit and climb the ladder again.

25 Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster - Labyrinth of Amala Deep Zone First Kalpa B1F North Entrance Pitfall 3From there, make your way two tiles north, one tile east, two tiles north, and two tiles east again. Fall to another pitfall.
26 You will return to “B2F” level but in another room away from the red fumes. Enter the west door in front of you. Then, reach the ladder at the end and climb upwards.
27 You will be at the new tunnel pathway. Choose the right branch and climb upwards again.
28 Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster - Labyrinth of Amala Deep Zone First Kalpa 1F Central Area Center DoorYou’ll be back at the east side of the “1F” level east area. Head to the central area and enter the centermost door.
29 Go down the ladder and head straight north in the “B2F” level tunnel.
30 Examine the peephole for a cutscene. This will make the Second Kalpa unlocked.

  1. The recommendation for when to start this is also wrong. You can beat the first Kalpa when you finished Assembly of Nihilo, the second after you beat the Prison, the third after the Obilisk and the 4th and 5th when you are able to defeat the 4 horsemen. Though you also skilled your MC wrong so I can see why you might have trouble.

  2. on step 20 there is a discrepancy, it’s not possible to go 3 tiles north, the first tile in that direction drops you down and not where the item is. Also in following this guide I’ve been getting different items than the guide says I’ll get.

    • Also when it says go north it will say “compass west” in different colors… Why not just say west? It’s not helpful to have 2 different directions like that

  3. This guide absolutely sucks. Why tf is it so inconsistent with directions? What’s wrong with left right backwards and forwards? Just cause you’re facing a direction doesn’t mean it’s north! The compass is in the game for a reason! I’m honestly better off just playing the game with no guide.

    • The directions are fine, they say north, south, etc from the direction your facing. If it says go North but you’re not facing north then turn north genius, you can’t be this stupid
